Session 5 will provide attendees with an analysis of a possible alternative to Alabama’s current formula, which is a resource-based funding model. What is a student-weighted formula? What is the best design to meet the needs of Alabama’s students? We’ll explore model policies and a set of principles that we believe will work for Alabama.
